S.A. Martin resignation; F.M. Ferguson elected; Wm Dana resignation as clerk; J.W. Jamerson shed permit; Dana, Iowa

Regular council meeting. S.A. Martin resigned from council and was replaced by F.M. Ferguson; town clerk Wm Dana also resigned. Council granted J.W. Jamerson conditional permission to build a shed encroaching on the street.

Council met in regular session. members
present Mayor R G Martin councilmen
Martin McNurlen Morris Johnson McGregor.
minutes of last meeting read & approved.
Moved & 2nd that the following bills be
allowed & order be drawn on Treas for
same. motion carried.
Wm Magers — $1.75
A J McNurlen — 8.00
Jennie Ferguson — 3.00

S A Martin tendered his resignation as
councilman. motion made & 2nd that we
accept S A Martin's resignation. motion
carried. motion made & 2nd that we elect
F M Ferguson to fill vacancy of S A Martin.
motion carried. a vote was taken &
F M Ferguson was declared elected. Wm Dana
tendered his resignation as town clerk.
moved & 2nd that we accept Wm Dana's resig-
nation. motion carried. moved & 2nd that
we give J W Jamerson permission to
build a shed 12 feet wide on south side
of his building on street with the understan-
ding that he would remove same whenever
a sidewalk was ordered in along side
of building. motion carried.
Moved & 2nd that we adjourn to
meet next regular meeting night. motion
carried.
