RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 4
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE WATER RATES FOR THE CITY
OF DANA, IOWA AND DITECTING THE CITY CLERK TO POST
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PURPOSED RATE CHANGES
FOR CITY WATER.
WHEREAS: The City of Dana, Greene County, Iowa, has a contract with
General Electric Capitol Services with the Dana Waterwork's
debt that states the revenue will generate enough money to
cover all Waterworks expenses.
WHEREAS: The City of Dana , Greene County, Iowa, in order to meet the
terms of the contract, purposes the following water rates.
First one thousand gallons used, $14.00 plus tax, second thousand
and up $6.00 plus tax a thousand gallon.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing thereon will be held
in the Community Center on the 21st day of September, 1994, at
7:15 o'clock p.m.. at which time and place the council will
consider arguments for or against the adoption of the purposed
rates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the clerk be authorized and directed to
cause to be posted notice of such hearing one time not less
than four (4) days nor more than twenty (20) days prior to the
date herein established for hearing as law provided.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 17th DAY OF AUGUST, 1994.
