Regular meeting; all present. Adopted Resolution 92-1 (procedure for new water customers and past-due water bills) and Resolution 92-2 (Iowa Light and Power Co. street light on Outlot 4, Original City of Dana), each by unanimous roll call. The clerk was told to advertise for sealed bids on the city's 1948 Ford fire truck, due November 10, 1992. The well on Outlot 3 and dogs running loose were discussed, and the council was told that from January 1, 1993 city vehicles must use at least 10% ethanol blends.

UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 21, 1992 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and all council members present.
The minutes of the September 16, 1992 regular council meeting were approved.
Motion by Hillman second by Paulson to adopt Resolution 92-1. A Resolution establishing procedure for new water customers and water bills that are past due. Ayes: Hillman, Pedersen, Paulson, Hadley, Hurley. Nayes, none. Motion carried.
Motion by Hurley second by Pedersen to adopt Resolution 92-2. A resolution authorizing Iowa Light and Power Co. to install a Street Light on Outlot 4 original City of Dana, Greene County, Iowa. Ayes: Hurley, Hadley, Pedersen, Paulson, Hillman, Nayes: none. Motion carried.
The City Clerk was instructed to put an ad in the paper asking for sealed bids for the 1948 Ford Fire Truck. Bids to be in the City Clerks hands by November 10, 1992 at 5:00 p.m.
The well on Outlot 3 Original City of Dana, Greene County, Iowa was discussed.
Dogs running loose was discussed.
Motion by Hurley second by Hadley to approve the following bills and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.
GENERAL FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 48.94; George Brabbs, mileage, wages, 128.31; George Brabbs, mileage, 89.26; Peoples Trust and Savings Bank, FICA and Medicare, 235.09; IPERS, ipers, 145.20; Dave Hoyt, legal, service, 37.74; Iowa Electric, service, 33.70; George Brabbs, telephone calls, 4.52; Gte, service, 33.10.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 140.53; Roger Rowles, digging holes for street signs.
WATER REVENUE FUND: Iowa Electric, 72.68; City of Grand Junction, chlorine, 202.50; Dan Acton, mileage, postage, wages, 238.52; Iowa Electric, 49.66
It was brough to the councils attention as of January 1, 1993 local Governments are required to use at least 10% ethanol blends in their gasoline in City vehicles.
