Council meet in regular meeting, members present Mayor R.G. Martin, Councilmen G.E. Meridith, S.A. Martin, Geo Johnson, A.J. McNurlan, Geo Morris. Minutes of last meeting read & approved. Moved & 2nd that the poll tax of C.E. Dana, J. Burmaster & W.P. Gleason be returned as unpaid. Motion carried.
Moved & 2nd that the following bills be allowed & an order be drawn on treas. for same. Motion carried:
Mell Collins, street — 7.00
J. McCallen, lighting st. lights — 8.00
Jennie Ferguson, rent — 3.00
Moved & 2nd that the bills of J. Jones, Holenhead & Cap Woltz, $2 do (ditto) each for night watch, be allowed & an order be drawn on treas. for same — 6.00
Moved & 2nd that we adjourn to meet next regular meeting night. Motion carried.
