UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 20, 1993 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and council members Hadley, Hurley, Paulson present. Absent: Pedersen, Hillman.
The minutes of the December 16, 1992 and the special meeting December 22, 1993 [sic: 1992] meeting were read and approved.
The America Disibility Act was discussed along with the Federal mandates.
Motion by Hadley second by Hurley to approve the Job Descriptions as presented by the City Clerk. Motion Carried.
Motion by Hurley second by Hadley to approve the purposed [sic] projects to be in compliance with the ADA mandates. Motion Carried.
Motion by Hurley second by Paulson to pay the following bills and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.
GENERAL FUND: Copeland Insurance Agency, Inc.,insurance, 1200.00; George Brabbs, wages, mileage, 129.78; Copeland Insurance Agency, Inc., telephone calls, 3.82; Peoples Trust and Savings Bank, FICA and Medicare, 66.94; Iowa Electric, service, 46.52; Consolidated Coop, LP, 58.80; Genesis Development, recycling, 24.32; Iowa Municipal Finance Officers Assn, dues, 30.00; Copeland Insurance Agency, Inc.,rent, 15.00.
ROAD USE TAX: Iowa Electric, service, 153.49; Barrett Motor Supply, repairs, 55.09; Motor Parts, repairs, 49.49.
WATER FUND: Met. Inc., testing, 114.00; Dan Acton, wages, mileage, postage, 246.53; Iowa Electric, service, 100.28; George Brabbs, wages, 97.73; Iowa Rural Water Assn.,membership, 100.00.
RECEIPT FUNDS: General, 1125.18; Road Use Tax, 395.56; Water Revenue Fund, 1696.44; Bingo Fund, 185.00.
