Description
Regular meeting (Hadley absent). The council accepted with regret the resignation of Lyle Hadley and appointed Virgil Pedersen to the unexpired term, ending December 31, 1995. Don Paulson became alternate to the recycling agency. Steve Hunderdose of IES Utilities presented a plan to replace the street lights, and the council adopted Resolution 94-1 authorizing IES to convert all of Dana's street lights to sodium lights. Nuisance notices were ordered for loose dogs, installation of the D.O.T. street signs was discussed, and the June meeting was set for June 29. "UN" in the heading was struck out by hand.

[UN struck out by hand] APPROVED MINUTES OF THE APRIL 20, 1994 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The Dana City Council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding. Council members present were Delp, Hurley, Hillman, Paulson. Absent: Hadley.
The minutes of the March 16, 1994 council meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to accept with regret the resignation of Lyle Hadley from the Dana City Council. Motion carried.
Motion by Hillman second by Paulson to appoint Virgil Pedersen to the unexpired term on the City Council. Term ends December 31, 1995. Motion carried.
Don Paulson was appointed as an alternate to the recycling Agency.
Past due water bills were discussed and the City Clerk was instructed to send notices to past due customers.
Nuisance notices are to be sent to citizens having dogs running loose.
Steve Hunderdose from IES Utilities presented his plan for changing street lights.
Motion by Huley second by Hillman to approve Resolution 94-1. A resolution authorizating IES Utilities to change all of Dana's street lights to sodium lights. Ayes: Delp, Paulson, Hillman, Hurley, Pedersen. Nayes: None. Motion carried.
The City Clerk gave a finance report.
The instulation of the street signs from the D.O.T. were discussed.
A financial report was given on Dana Bingo.

Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to pay the apove listed bills and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.

Motion by Hillman second by Delp to adjourn. Motion carried.
