UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE MARCH 15, 1995 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The Council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and Council members, Delp, Paulson, Hurley present. Absent, Hillman, Pedersen.
The minutes of the February 27, 1995 Council meeting were read and approved.
Nuisances were discussed.
Motion by Paulson second by Delp to proceed with nuisances. Motion carried.
April 19, 1995 at 7:15 p.m. was the date set for a hearing on the sale of real estate. W 1/2 of Lot 1, Block 1, Dana, Greene County, Iowa. (formerly Zimmerle property)
The City Clerk will accept bids on the property until noon April 18, 1995.
Past due water bills were discussed and the Clerk was told to send shut-off notices.
Law enforcement with the Green County Sheriff's department was tabled until next regular council meeting.
The City Clerk gave the finacial repot.
Motion by Hurley second by Paulson to pay the following bills and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.
GENERAL FUND: Copeland Insurance Agency INc.,rent, $15.00; George Brabbs, wages, mileage 63.43; GTE, service, Community Ctr. and Clerk's office, $82.43; Pat's Service Ctr.,supplies, $7.50. IES Utilities, service, Community Ctr.,$43.17.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: IES Utilities, service, $154.79.
water revenue fund; George Brabbs, wages, $57.63; Dan Acton, Mileage, postage, wages, $304.71.
REVENUE FUNDS: GENERAL, $18.79; ROAD USE FUND: $391.77. WATER REVENUE FUND, $720.04, BINGO FUND, $95.00.
Next regular Council meeting April 19, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Ctr.
Motion by Paulson second by Delp to adjourn. Motion carried.
