Anderson to the Town (Jan 8 or 18 [?], 1935) and $2.00 for paint (Jan 9, 1935), both received by Lena [?] Anderson. The receipt, No. 324, dated Jan 24, 1935, records $66.20 paid to the Town by Greene County Treasurer Charles Cleveland, split among the town's funds: Road $15.00, General $15.49, Grading $4.57, Light $13.56, Improvement $7.98, Fire $3.87, Drag $1.70 and Town Hall $4.03. The "Dana office" stamp suggests the Jefferson State Bank then had a branch in Dana, possibly the successor to the Bank of Dana of 1912-1915. Found loose in the Council minutes book (record book of 1912 onward), tucked among the 1914-1915 pages, at City Hall.</text>
