MINUTES
Council met in regular session on September 1, 2010 at 7:00 pm at 104 Eckstein St, Dana,
IA with mayor Jack Pedersen presiding. Council members present: Ethel Hurley, Jack Hurley,
Mike Mgrdschian.
Motion Jack, second Ethel to approve Agenda. Ayes: all mc. Minutes of August 4
meeting were approved as written. Motion Mike, second Jack to approve financial reports Ayes:
all mc. Motion Jack, second Mike to approve all current bills and all bills due prior to next
regular meeting. Ayes: all mc.
No report from the sheriff's department was received. Motion Ethel, second Jack to
approve the 2010 Annual Street Report. Ayes: all mc. Motion Mike, second Ethel to approve
the Annual Financial Report. Ayes: all mc.
Discussion was held on the electrical work for our new city hall. Thank you to Nikell
Associates in Ames for the permit. Jack will begin as soon as the building is secured. Jack Hurley
will contact a plumber for the plumbing work.
Discussion was held on someone shooting a bb gun in the city.
Motion Ethel, second Mike to adjourn at 7:30 pm. Next regular council meeting
Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm at new city hall.
