Recently, Xenia Rural Water District has begun a review of documents on file. One ordinance that is
referenced in the franchise documents of your city is the Ordinance Requiring Mandatory Connection to
City Water System. This Ordinance is often passed after the Franchise Ordinance is finalized and has not
always been sent on to Xenia.
It is important for our records that we have a copy of the mandatory connection ordinance described
above. I have included a copy of an ordinance from one of our franchise communities so that you may
use it for reference in locating the document.
