A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING XENIA RURAL WATER DISTRICT TO
CONSTRUCT, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
WITHIN TWO MILES OF THE CITY OF DANA, GREENE COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the Xenia Rural Water District intends to construct, operate
and maintain a water distribution system generally described as the North West
Distribution Project.
WHEREAS, the North West Distribution Project will have some of its
transmission main and service connections within two miles of the city limits of the City of
Dana, Greene County, Iowa,
WHEREAS, Xenia Rural Water District has submitted a water service plan
in accordance with Section 357A.2, Code of Iowa, including areas within the two mile
area of the City of Dana, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Dana deems such construction to be in the best
interest of the City and its residents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Dana, Greene
County, Iowa, hereby consents to the construction, operation and maintenance of a water
distribution system to serve the customer located within a two mile radius of the city limits
of the City of Dana.
