Description
Regular session; all present. The Mayor names April 18 as clean up day. As Board of Review, the council hears Assessor Dana's list with no objections and no changes. As Board of Health, it takes a complaint from Mrs. G. W. Morris [?] about a sewer used by the Elgin Dairy Co.; the clerk is to tell Mr. Stoner that the drain at the creamery must be made sanitary. This places a creamery in Dana in 1917. The clerk's day reads as April 2 [?], the first Monday. Signed only by the clerk.

Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Following bills allowed and ordered paid
Jennie Ferguson Rent 3.00
Wm Magers Street Work 6.50
W H Metzger Supplies .90
Ia Lt Co. Street Lt 16.67 [?]
C B Woltz [?] Salary 7.50
Mayor named April 18th as clean up day. Council opened as Board of Review. Assessor Dana appeared and read list of assessment. No objections were made to assessments of property owners and Board made no changes
Council closed as Board of Review and opened as Board of Health. Mrs G W Morris [?] appeared and filed complaint in regard to sewer used by the Elgin Dairy Co. Moved by Jones seconded by McGregor that Clerk notify Mr Stoner that complaint had been filed about drain at creamery and that same must be made sanitary
