LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE OF HEARING
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of
Dana, Iowa, passed a resolution at its regular meeting held on
December 2, A.D., 1985, at 7:00 p.m., which resolution set forth
that the City convey unto Eldon Juhl, the following described real
estate, to-wit:
Parcels No. 3.and 4 of the Don G. Culver
Plat of the Southwest Quarter (SW%) of
Section 4, Township 84 North, Range 29,
West of the 5th P.M., Greene County, Iowa,
filed in the office of the Greene County
Recorder on April 25, 1968, : in Town Lot
Deed Record Book No. 49 at page 188,
A parcel of: real estate=beginning at the
Northeast corner of Lot 4 of the Southwest
Quarter (SW%) of Section 4, Township 84
North, Range 29, West of the 5th P.M.,
Greene County, Iowa, thence 165 feet to
the Southeast corner of said lot, thence
West 50.88 feet, thence North 165 feet,
thence East 52.38 feet to the point of
beginning, except the South 83 feet thereof,
Lot 3 of the Southwest Quarter (SW%) of
Section 4, Township 84 North, Range 29,
West of the 5th P.M., Greene County, IOwa,
except the South 83 feet thereof,
for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00), and provided further that said
conveyance will complete the former action of said Council held on
February 19, 1968, which was not completed by oversight by failing
to convey a.-deed for the above-described property. Public notice
is hereby further given that said proposed conveyance shall be
discussed at a special Council meeting held in the Dana Community
Center on Wednesday evening, December 18, 1985, commencing at
7:00 p.m. Any persons interested may appear at said time and place
and give objections to or support for said proposed conveyance at
which time said City Council shall hear any comments or statements
made at said time and said Council shall then render a final decision
on said proposed conveyance.
