UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 4, 1989 COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pederson presiding and
council members Pederson, border, Hurley, Hillman present. Absent Pearce.
The minutes of the December 14, 1988 council meeting were read and approved.
Past due water bills were discussed. The City Clerk was instructed to send
a special notice to the past due customers with the next billing.
The 1989-90 budget was discussed.
Motion by Hillman second by Pederson to pay the following bills and all bills
due prior to the next regular council meeting.
GENERAL FUND: Ia. Electric, serv., 51.94; Greene County Auditor, landfill
dues, 417.26; IPERS, 81.36; Consolidated Coop. Inc.,fuel, 79.80; George Brabbs,
wages, 59.05; Schall Oil Co., fuel, 54.47; Iowa League of Municipalities, dues,
104.00.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Olson Electric, backhoe work, 10.00; Iowa Electric, serv.,
136.71.
WATER FUND: Ia. Electric, serv.,73.52; Postmaster, postage, 25.00; FICA,
183.93; Dan Acton, wages, 101.78; mileage, 35.70, postage, 1.10; George
Brabbs, wages, 59.04.
Motion by Hillman second by Border to adjourn. M.C.
