UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE April, 1989
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pederson presiding and
all council members present.
The minutes of the March 29, 1989 council meeting were read and approved.
Insurance rates and past due water bills were discussed.
Motion by Border second by Hillman to pay the following bills and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. M.c.
General Fund: George Brabbs, wages, 49.72; Peoples Trust and Savings Bank,
FICA, 124.58; Consolidated Coop. Inc.,L P Gas, 75.60; Schaal Oil Co., L.P. Gas,
41.90; General Telephone Co.,service, 62.42.
Water Fund: George Brabbs, wages, 49.73; IPERS, 77.14, lst quarter; Postmaster,
postage, 25.00; Daniel Acton, wages, 90.64, postage, 1.10, mileage, 29.40;
Treasurer, State of Iowa, sales tax, 77.57; Copeland Ins.,ins.,20.00.
Next regular council meeting at 8:00 p.m. in the Community Center, May 17,
1989.
Motion by Border second by Pederson to adjourn. M.C.
