UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JUNE 21, 1989 COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and
council memberg§ Border, Hillman, Hurley, Pederson present. Absent, Hadley.
The minutes of the May 17, 1989 council meeting were read and approved.
Past due water, bills were discussed.
Motion by Border second by Pederson to approve a beer & liquor permit f=
Dirty Shame Saloon. M.C.
Motion by Hurley second by Hillman to approve a cig. permit for Dirty
Shame Saloon upon receipt of the $75.00 annual fee. M.C.
Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to pay the following bills and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. M.C. ‘
WATER FD: Iowa Electric Light and Power, electric, 78.12; Dan Acton,
wages, 135.35; mileage, postage, 1.10; George Brabbs, wages, 88.57; IPERS,
56.39; General Electric Corp.,Interest, 2354.07, prinicipal, 1233.93;
Iowa Electric Light and Power, electric, 117.50.
GENERAL FD: Iowa Electric Light and Power, electric, 31.26; Idea Press,
supplies,28.82; George Brabbs, wages, 88.57; IPERS, 22.00; Postmaster,
postage, 25.00; General Telephone, service, 69.30; Richard Hurley, mowing,
122.00; Iowa Electric Light and Power, 37.36.
ROAD USE TAX FD: Iowa Electric Light and Power, electric, 139.11; Iowa
Electric Light and Power, electric, 140.29.
Next regular council meeting July 26, 1989 at 8:00 p.m.
