UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 16, 1991 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor- Prom Hurley presiding
and all council members present. Absent Mayor Pedersen.
The minutes of the September 18, 1991 regular council meeting were read and
approved.
Motion by Border second by Hillman to approve the 1990-91 annual report.
Motion carried.
A Dana Bingo report was given by the City Clerk.
Past due water bills were discussed and the City Clerk was instructed
to sent letters of shut off notice to those past due beyon d acceptable -
limits.
The meeting on recycling wn Jefferson for City Officals was discussed.
Motion by Border second by Hillman to pay the following bills and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion Carried.
GENERAL FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 54.32; George Brabbs, wages, 86.87;
Peoples Trust and Savings Bank, FICA, 172.47; Consolidated Coop.,fuel,
63.75; IPERS, ipers, 106.50; Olson Electric Pldg and Heating, labor,
335.00; Globe Free Press, supplies, 3.68; GTE, service, 77.59;
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 138.21; Ivan Hillman, remb. for
reflectors, 3.62; Reese Masonry, material and labor on storm drain, 384.62.
WATER REVENUE FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 86.93; George Brabbs, wages,
86.89; Dan Acton, wages, mileage, postage, 203.88; State of Iowa, Treasurer,
sales tax, 81.47; Olson Electric Pldg and Heating, material, 254,91;
Met Inc.,testing, 24.00,
DANA BINGO FUND: Dana Vol, Fire Dept. bingo receipts, 612.60; Dana
Community Center Assn.,bingo receipts, 400.40.
RECEIPT FUNDS:
GENERAL FUND: 335.82; ROAD USE TAX FUND, 392.83; WATER REVENUE FUND,
1630.42; DANA BINGO FUND, 272.00.
Next regular council meeting November 13, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. in the
Community Center.
Motion by Border second by Pedersen to adjourn. Motion Carried.
