UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 2, 1992 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor-Protm Hurley
presiding and council-members Hadley, Paulson, Hurley present.
Absent, Pedersen, Hillman, Mayor Pedersen.
The minutes of the regular December 18, 1991 council meeting and
the special council meeting December 23, 1991 were read and approved.
Motion by Hadley second by Hurley to adopt Resolution 1-92 hiring
George Brabbs as Dana City Clerk/Treasurer for the calendar years
1992-93at $7.00 per hour. Ayes, Hurley, Hadley, Paulson, Nayes
none. Absent, Hillman, Pedersen. Motion Carried.
Motion by Hadley second by Paulson to adopt Resolution2-92 to permanetly
designate public placed for posting notices , meetings and other
Offical Acts. Ayes, Paulson, Hadley, Hurley. Nayes, None. Absent,
Pedersen, Hillman. Motion Carried.
Motion by Hadley second by Paulson to pay the following bills
and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting.
Motion carried.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 136.72.
GENERAL: Iowa Electric, sevice, 42.90; IPERS, ipers, 92.61; Peoples
Trust and Savings Bank, FICA, 362.61; George Brabbs, wages, 133.42;
Idea Press, supplies, 27.76; Consolidated Coop., LP gas, 137.45;
Postmaster, postage, 58.00;
WATER REVENUE FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 38.14; Dan Acton, wages,
mileage, postage, 198.65; George Brabbs, wages, 133.42; Dept.
of Revenue and Finance, sales tax, 123.32.
DANA BINGO FUND: Dana Volunteer Fire Dept., 4th quarter bingo,
432.60; Dana Community Center, 4th quarter bingo, 290.00.
RECEIPTS FUND: General Fund, 1349.30; Road Use Tax Fund, 316.83;
Water Fund, ./02.32; Dana Bingo Fund, bingo, 278.00.
Next Regular council meeting February 19,1992 at 7:00 p.m. at
7:00 p.m. in the Dana Community Center.
Motion by Hurley second by Paulson to adjourn, Motion Carried.

The Dana Fire Volunteer Fire Department metand a motion was
made by Hurley second by, Paulson to donate to yht City of Dana
Water Revenue Fund $800.00. Motion Carried.
