unapproved minutes of the may 20, 1992 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The Dana Council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding
and Council Members Pedersen, Hurley, Hadley, Hillman present.Absent
Paulson.
The minutes of the April 15, 1992 regular council meeting were read
and approved.
A representive from Stinky's Bar and Grill was present to dicuss Dana Days.
Motion by Hurley second by Hillman to approve a cig. permit for Stinky's
Bar and Grill for the fiscal 1992-93 year. M.C.
Motion by Hillman second by Hadley to adopt a investment policy. M.C.
Motion by Hillman second by Hadley to buy street signs from Iowa Prison
Industries for $708.25. M.C.
Motion by Hurley second by Pedersen to pay the following bills and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. M.C.
GENERAL FUND: Peoples Trust and Savings Bank, checks, 73.47; Iowa Electric,
service, 46.02; George Brabbs, wages, 108.59; GTE, service, 32.35; Jer
Pedersen, mowing, 25.00.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 148.78.
WATER FUND: George Brabbs, wages, 108.59; The Globe Free Press, supplies,
21.24; Brown Supply Co.,chlorine, 226.60; Dan Acton, postage, mileage,
wages, 231.89; Iowa Electric, service, 90.90; Peoples Trust and Savings
Bank, checks, 73.47.
RECEIPT FUNDS: General Fund, 7935.79; Road Use Tax Fund, 314.72: Water
Revenue Fund, 561.62; Bingo Fund, 177.00.
Next regular council meeting June 17, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dana
Community Center.
Motion by Hurley second by Hadley to adjourn. M.C.
