UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JULY 15, 1992 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and all
council members present.
The minutes of the June 17, 1992 council meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Hurley second by Pedersen to appoint Ivan Hillman as an alternate
to the Greene County Recycling Board. Motion Carried,
Motion by Paulson second by Hillman to approve Resolution 92-3, approving
the offical Road Use Tax report for fiscal 1991--92. Motion Carried.
House nunbers wre discussed.
Past due water bills were discussed.
Motion by Paulson second by Hillman to pay the following bills and ali
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion Carried.
GENERAL FUND: Matt Parrott and Sons Co.,supplies, 55.10; Iowa Electric, service
42.05; City of Dana Water Revenue, Utilities, 208.00; George Brabbs, wages,
122.59; IPERS, 118.41; Peoples Trust and Savings Bank, FICA, 191.71; League
of Iowa Municipalities, membership, 147.00: Copeland Insurance, insurance;
3653.00; GTE, service, 32.35; Jack Pedersen, (Wal-Mart) lock and hasp, 8.44.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 147.90.
WATER REVENUE FUND: General Electric Capital Corp.,interest and principal,
3588.00; Iowa Electric, service, 115.02; George Brabbs, wages, 122.59;Dan
Acton, wages; mileage, postage, 261.20; State of Iowa, sales tax, 73.84;
Doud Wenger, water depoiit refund, 50.00; Met. Inc.,testing, 24.00.
RECETPTS FUNDS: GENERAL FUND: 546.04; Water Revenue Fund, 908.21: Bingo
Bund; 233.00.
Next regular council meeting August 19, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dana
Community Center.
Motion by Pedersen second by Hadley to adjourn. Motion Carried.
