Regular session; F. M. Ferguson absent. Communications on the electric light franchise are read. Bills are allowed, including a fee for an opinion on the franchise, and A. D. McGregor is allowed $7.00 for gasoline and oil on a trip to Jefferson concerning the pending franchise. G. F. Hollingshead is appointed Town Marshal. Mayor Martin is delegated to Paton and W. H. Kittell to Grand Junction to ascertain the price of electric lights and motor power. Adjourned to Wednesday morning. A loose typed sheet is tucked into the book beside page 36.

Town Hall Dana Iowa Dec 7th 1914
Town Council Met in regular Session
The meeting was called to order by Mayor R. G. Martin
On Roll call the following Councilmen answered present: A. D. McGregor, W. H. Kittell, Melvin Collins & G. D. Johnson
Absent F. M. Ferguson
Minutes of last meeting read & approved
Communications on Electric light franchise read and as nothing of satisfaction was derived from same.
Nothing was done with same.
The following Bills were audited by Finance Com. Church & Mr. Colly [?] Fees for Opinion on Electric light Franchise [?] $2.00 issued to Clerk

Feeding Tramps .50

Wm. Magers Street Comm.
To hauling 17 loads of Gravel at 60c 10.20

The foregoing bills be allowed
