Description
Special meeting (Hillman, Hurley and Pedersen present). The council adopted Ordinance #45, vacating the West 212.30 feet of the East 313.18 feet of North Street (the part lying south of Lot 5 and the East 80.30 feet of Lot 4 of the Irregular Survey, SW¼ SW¼ of Section 4, T84N, R29W), with the three readings waived. It then passed Resolution 93-6 to sell and convey that same strip to Juhl Feed, Inc. by quit claim deed. The full legal description is recorded twice. This meeting follows the October 20, 1993 resolution to correct the documents on a 1987 sale of part of North Street.

MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 27, 1993 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
The City of Dana met in special session Wednesday, October 27, 1993 at 7:00 p.m.in the Dana Community Center with Mayor Pedersen presiding.
Council members present: Hillman, Hurley and Pedersen.
Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried.
Council member Hurley introduced and caused to be read Ordinance #45 to vacate the West 212.30 feet of the East 313.18 feet of North Street in the Town of Dana, Iowa, which is also described as all that part of North Street in the Town of Dana, Greene County, Iowa, lying adjacent to and South of Lot Five (5) and the East 80.30 feet of Lot Four (4) of the Irregular Survey of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW¼SW¼) of Section Four (4), Township Eighty-four (84) North, Range Twenty-nine (29) West of the 5th P.m., Greene County, Iowa. Motion by Hurley second by Pedersen to waive the three readings in regard to Ordinance #45. Upon roll call the following council members voted aye: Hillman, Pedersen and Hurley. Nays: None. Motion carried. Motion by Hurley second by Pedersen to adopt Ordinance #45. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. Mayor Pedersen declared Ordinance #45 duly adopted.
