Regular meeting with all members present. The council gave $500 to East Greene School for two scholarships and hired Hoffman Bros. to fix the snow plow. Past due water bills were reviewed and the monthly bills paid, including legal work by Dave Hoyt and tractor and snow plow repairs. A special meeting was set for January 5, 1994. UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 15, 1993 MEETING
The Dana City council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and all council members present.
Motion by Hadley second by Hillman to give $500.00 to the East Greene School for two scholarships. Motion carried.
Motion by Hurley second by Hillman to hire Hoffman Bros. to fix the snow plow. Motion carried.
Past due water bills were reviewed.
Motion by Hillman second by Hadley to pay the following bills and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.
GENERAL FUND: George Brabbs, wages & mileage, 119.00; Copeland Insurance Agency Inc., rent, 15.00; Dave Hoyt, legal work, 94.74; Idea Press, supplies, 10.58; Peoples Trust & Savings Bank, FICA & medicare, 74.92; GTE, service, 47.09; Genesis Development, recycling, 14.81; IPERS, ipers, 119.07.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Ivan Hillman, Repairs, supplies, for tractor and snow plow, 148.64; Barrett Mtr. Supply, repairs, 14.28; Iowa Electric, service, 160.55;
WATER REVENUE FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 157.10;Hach Co.,chlorine, 27.10; George Brabbs, wages, 114.80; Dan Acton, wages, mileage, postage, 292.57.
BINGO FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 39.53;GTE, service, 34.29.
RECEIPT FUNDS: GENERAL FUND, 2927.63; ROAD USE TAX FUND: 292.87;
