UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 5,1994 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in special session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and council members Delp, Hadley, Hurley and Paulson present.
The minutes of the December 15, 1993 council meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Paulson second by Hurley to reappoint George Brabbs as City Clerk/Treasurer at $8.60 per hour, plus mileage. Motion carried.
Motion by Hurley second by Hadley to reappoint Robert Schwarzkopf as City attorney. Motion carried.
MOtion by Delp second by Paulson to reappoint Dan Acton as water supt. at $7.50 per hour plus mileage. Motion carried.
Mayor Pedersen appointed Jack Hurley as Mayor Pro tem. Motion by Hurley second by Delp to accept the Mayor's appointment for Mayor Pro Tem. M.C.
January 19, 1994 at 7:15 p.m. was set as the date for a public hearing on the proposed 1994-95 budget.
Motion by Hurley second by Hadley to pay the following bills and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion Carried.

ROAD USE TAX FUND: Don's Service, gas & supplies, 31.10; Higgins repair, heater repair, 43.40; Iowa Electric, service, 161.70; Hoffman Bros.,repairing snow plow, 517.56;
WATER REVENUE FUND: George Brabbs, wages, 68.26; Iowa Electric, service, 16.67;Ia. Dept. of Revenue & Finance, sales tax, 130.09; Dan Acton, wages, mileage, postage.
BINGO FUND: Consolidated Coop. LP gas, 198.00; East Greene Community School, scholships (2) 500.00. Ia Electric, service, 53.78.
RECEIPT FUNDS: General Fd.,1260.87; Road Use Tax fd.,365.61; Water Revenue fd, 751.14; Bingo fd.,286.00.
Next regular council meeting Jaunary 19, 1994 at 7:00 p.m.
