Regular session; all present. Bills are allowed, and six-month salaries are paid: Mayor Kittell $15.00, councilmen $5.00-$6.00, Treasurer C. A. Swanson $1.00, Clerk De Boest $7.50. Judges and clerks are named for the March 27, 1916 town election. The Finance Committee becomes the auditing board for the Clerk's and Treasurer's books, and Councilman Martin is to see about lights for the Town Hall with the Iowa Railway and Light Company.

Town Hall March 6th 1916
Town Council of the Town of Dana Iowa met in regular session
Mayor Kittell in Chair
The following Councilmen answered present to roll call Martin, McGregor, Ferguson, Dana & Johnson.
Absent None.
Minutes of last meeting read & approved
The following Bills were read and allowed by Finance Committee
Iowa Ry & Light Co Street Lights 16.67
Mrs. A McCombs Hall rent 5.00
C Bauer Marshall Salary 3.00
Mutt Parrott Hone [?] Co Poll Books & Nomination Blanks 7.00 [?]
Wm Magers Street Work 3.00
Moved by Councilman Martin that the foregoing Bills be allowed and warrants issued for same
This motion was seconded by Councilman Dana. Motion carried.
The following warrants were issued for Salaries of Town Officers
Mayor W. H. Kittell 15.00
Councilman F. M. Ferguson 6.00
" R. G. Martin 6.00
" A. D. McGregor 5.00
" G. D. Johnson 6.00
" Wm Dana 6.00

Appointed as Judges & Clerks for the Town Election on March 27th 1916

Mayor appointed Finance Committee as Auditing Board on Books of Clerk & Treas.
Councilman Martin was appointed to see about Light for Town Hall with Iowa Ry & Light Co.
Moved by Councilman Martin that we stand adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Dana. Motion carried.
