MINUTES
Council met in regular session on December 2, 2009 at 7:00 pm at 104 Eckstein
St, Dana, [A with Mayor Jack Pedersen presiding. Council members present: Ethel
Hurley, Jack Hurley, Virgil Pedersen.
Motion V Pedersen, second E Hurley to approve Agenda. Ayes: all mc. Minutes
of November 4, 2009 meeting were approve as written. Motion J Hurley, second V
Pedersen to approve financial reports. Ayes: all mc. Motion J Hurley, second E Hurley
to approve all current bills and all bills due prior to next regular meeting. Ayes: all mc.
Sheriff report for October was reviewed.
Resignation from Virgil Pedersen was accepted with regret. We appreciate his
years of service. Thank you Virgil.
Mayor Jack Pedersen appointed Mike Mgrdichian to complete the term of Virgil
Pedersen. Ayes: all
Public hearing was opened at 7:05 to review the sale of the old fire station.
Hearing no written or oral comments, the public hearing was closed at 7:06. Motion to
sell Ethel Hurley, second Jack Hurley. Ayes: Virgil Pedersen, Ethel Hurley, Jack Hurley.
Discussion to run an ad to tear down and dispose of all waste material from the
Community Center/Methodist Church in the Des Moines Register was approved. Offer
due February 1, 2010.
Motion J Hurley, second E Hurley to adjourn at 7:20 pm. Next regular council
meeting Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm at 104 Eckstein St.
