MINUTES
Council met in regular session on August 1, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Dana Community Center
with Mayor Jack Pedersen presiding. Council members present: Ethel Hurley, Jack Hurley, Virgil
Pedersen.
Motion V Pedersen, second E Hurley to approve Agenda. Ayes: all mc. Minutes of July
11 meeting were approved as written. Motion J Hurley, second V Pedersen to approve financial
reports. Ayes: all mc. Motion V Pedersen, second J Hurley to approve all current bills and all
bills due prior to next regular meeting. Ayes: all mc.
No report was received from the Sheriff. Sheriff Tom Heater was present to discuss the
dog running loose problem. Also reported that Juhls have had fuel stolen from trucks. Also
someone has broken in to Stinky’s.
Xenia representatives were present with a preliminary report for the sewer project. Motion
J Hurley, second V Pedersen to apply for a grant to proceed with the sewer project. Ayes: all mc.
It is unlawful to have rain water in the sewer system.
Motion V Pedersen, second J Hurley to approve the Street Finance Report. Ayes: all mc.
Motion E Hurley, second V Pedersen to approve the Fire Agreement. Ayes: all mc.
Clerk will check on the procedure for a franchise election.
Motion J Hurley, second E Hurley to adjourn at 8:05 pm. Next regular council meeting
Wednesday, September 5 at 7:00 pm at Dana Community Center.
