UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 15, 1990 REGULAR COUNCIL
MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and
all council members present.
The minutes of the July 18, 1990 council meeting were read and approved.
Past due water bills were discussed and notices are to be sent to the
ones over $100.00.
Motion by Hadley second by Hurley to remove the bell and steeple from the
Community Center. Motion carried.
Greene County Development was discussed.
Department of Transportation report was discussed.
Motion by Pederson second by Hurley to pay the following bills and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.
GENERAL FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 39.96; George Brabbs, wages, 74.80;
General Telephone Co.,service, 59.80; George Brabbs, registration for school,
30.00
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 144.66; Rueter's Red Power,
repairs, 316.90; Jer Pedersen, mowing, 24.00; Conroy Welding and Machine,
repairs, 67.40.
WATER FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 69.97; Dan Acton, wages, 99.29,
postage, 1.20; mileage, 33.60; George Brabbs, wages, 74.81; Brown Supply Co.,
chlorine, 152.00.
RECEIPTS FUNDS: General Fund, 592.04; Road Use Tax Fund, 368.94; Water Fund,
106605.
Next regular council meeting September 19, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. in the
Community Center.
Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to adjourn. Motion carried.
