UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE REGULAR OCTOBER 24, 1990 COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding and
all council members present.
The minutes of the September 17, 1990 council meeting were read and
approved.
Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to pay for repairs on the City
Fire Truck. Motion Carried.
Past due water bills were discussed and those in default will be
turned off.
Motion by Border second by Hadley to pay the following bills and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting. Motion carried.
GENERAL FUND: Postmaster, box rent, 10.00; Iowa Electric, service,
112.61; George Brabbs, wages, 93.08; Peoples Trust and Savings Bank,
FICA, 146.83; IPRES, ipers, 90.69; Consolidated Coop. Inc., fuel,
26.00; General Telephone Co. Inc.,service, 62.37; Virgil Pedersen, repairs, 11.82
ROAD USE TAX: Iowa electric, service, 291.37.
WATER FUND: Iowa Electric, service,113.77; George Brabbs, wages, 93.08;
Dan Acton, wages, mileage, postage, 103.87;Hygenic Lab.,testing, 30.00;
State of Iowa, sales tax, 122.86; Pedersen Electric, repairs, 16.80.
RECEIPTS: WATER FUND: 881.12; GENERAL FUND: 7598.73; ROAD USE TAX
FUND: 551.35; BINGO ACCOUNT: 470.00.
Next regular council meeting November 14, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. in the
Community Center.
Motion by Border second by Hurley to adjourn. Motion Carried.
