UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 2,1991 COUNCIL MEETING
The council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen presiding
and council members Hillman, Hurley, Pedersen present. Absent Hadley,
Border.
The minutes of the December 19,1990 regular council meeting were
read and approved.
A Public Hearing was held on the purposed 1991-92 budget. No
written objection received or oral objection heard against the
purposed budget.
Motion by Hurley second by Pedersen to adopt the purposed 1991-92
budget. Motion Carried.
Past due water bills were discussed.
A letter from General Electric, holder of the water loan, to the
Mayor was discussed.
It was reported a company had been hired to remove the Community
Center steeple as soon as weather permits.
Motion by Hillman second by Hurley to pay the following bills
and all bills due prior to the next regular council meeting.
Motion Carried.
GENERAL FUND: IPERS, 50.94; Iowa Electric, service, 56.96;Peoples
Trust and Savings Bank, FICA and Medicare Social Security, 169.82;
Consolidatd Coop. Inc.,fuel, 253.30; George Brabbs, wages, 46.39;
Greene County Auditor, Sanitary Landfill, 550.00; Pedersen Electric,
supplies, 16.00.
ROAD USE TAX: Iowa Electric, service, 142.62.
WATER FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 72.36;Iowa Dept. of Revenue and
Finance, sales tax, 22.77; George Brabbs, wages, 46.39; Dan Acton,
wages, postage, mileage, 103.97. BINGO ACCT.Fire Dept.,412.00 Comm. Ctr.,500.00.
RECEIPT FUNDS: Water Fund, 306.59; General Fund, 1317.22; Bingo
Account, 333.00.
Motion by Pedersen second by Hurley to adjourn. Motion Carried.
