UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE MAY 15, 1991 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
The Dana City council met in regular session with Mayor Pedersen
presiding and all council members present.
The minutes of the regular April 17, 1991 council meeting were read
and approved.
Motion by Border second by Hillman to have Annette Swansen manage Dana
bingo starting June 1, 1991 thru the 3rd quarter on a volunteer basis, accord-
ing to State regulations. Motion Carried.
Past due water bills were discussed and customers past due over $100.00
who have been notified will have their water shut off May 16th, 1991 and
a $25.00 fee will be charged to have the water turn on after the
complete bill has been paid.
The street program was discussed.
Virgil Pedersen report on the Community Center steeple removal.
Motion by Hurley second by Border to pay the following bill and all
bills due prior to the next regular council meeting.
GENERAL FUND: Virgil Pedersen, weed spry, fertilizer, 57.59: Ivan Hillman,
tree moving, 35.00; Iowa Electric, service, 41.60; Internal Revenue Service
FICA, 78.18;Idea Press, supplies, 5.39; Ivan Hillman, barrell for park, 26.20;
George Brabbs, wages, 77.57; IPERS, ipers, 48.29; General Telephone Co.,
service, 83.53; Postmaster, postage, 58.00; Internal Revenue Service, FICA 1988,
135.86; Jeri Pedersen, mowing, 22.00.
ROAD USE TAX FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 156.81.
WATER REVENUE FUND: Iowa Electric, service, 47.18; Dan Acton, wagwes, postage,
mileage, 134.01; George Brabbs, wages, 77.36.
RECEIPTS FUND:
BINGO ACCOUNT: 466.36; _. * WATER REVENUE FUND; 782.43. GENERAL FUND; 978.96.
