Regular meeting with all members present. Steve Hillman discussed the current insurance policy. The council let a resident keep a horse as a pet, given a tight fence and removal if there were complaints. Xenia was to put in a hydrant where the pipe was cut off, abatements were requested for unmowed property, and the council moved to buy "a 78 snow removal equipment," trading the present truck. MINUTES
Council met in regular session June 7, 2000 at 7:00 pm at the
Community Center with Mayor Pedersen presiding. Council members
present: J Erickson, J Hurley, V Pedersen, I Hillman, R Delp.
Absent: none.
Motion J Hurley, second I Hillman to approve Agenda. All mc.
Motion R Delp, second J Hurley to approve Minutes. All mc. Motion
I Hillman, second V Pedersen to approve financial report. Ayes: all
mc. Motion V Pedersen, second I Hillman to approve all current
bills and all bills due prior to next regular meeting. Ayes: all
mc.
Steve Hillman was present to discuss the current insurance
policy.
Sheriff's report was not received. Discussion was held on a
residents request to have a horse as a pet. Council agreed as long
as there was a tight fence to keep the horse. Also the horse would
have to be removed if there were any complaints.
Xenia will put in a hydrant where the pipe was cut off.
The council requested that Abatements be sent to residents
that have not mowed their property.
Motion V Pedersen, second J Hurley to purchase a 78 snow
removal equipment. The present truck would be traded.
Motion R Delp, second J Hurley to adjourn at 8:05 pm. Next
regular council meeting July 5 at 7:00 pm at Community Center.
