MINUTES
Council met in regular session on May 6, 2009 at 7:00 pm at Dana Community
Center with Mayor Jack Pedersen presiding. Council members present: Ethell Hurley,
Jack Hurley. Absent: Virgil Pedersen
Motion J Hurley, second E Hurley to approve Agenda. Ayes: all mc. Minutes of
April 1 meeting were approved as written. Motion E Hurley, second J Hurley to approve
financial reports. Ayes: all mc. Motion J Hurley, second E Hurley to approve all current
bills and all bills due prior to next regular meeting. Ayes: all mc.
Keri Lane of Region XII was present to discuss a hazard mitigation plan for the
city of Dana so we will be eligible for federal funds. She will work on this.
David Morain, attorney, was present to discuss the garbage issue in Dana. Also
the sewer problem with the DNR and the properties that need to be put in the name of
Dana. He and Keri will work on finding some funding for these projects.
Sheriff's report for March and April were reviewed.
Motion E Hurley, second J Hurley to adjourn at 8:20 pm. Next regular council
meeting Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 7:00 pm at Dana Community Center.
