MINUTES
Council met in regular session on June 4, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Dana Community Center
with Mayor Jack Pedersen presiding. Council members present: Ethel Hurley, Jack Hurley, Virgil
Pedersen.
Motion J Hurley, second V Pedersen to approve Agenda. Ayes; all mc. Minutes of May
6 meeting were approved as written. Motion E Hurley, second J Hurley to approve financial
reports. Ayes: all me. Motion J Hurley, second V Pedersen to approve all current bills and all
bills due prior to next regular meeting. Ayes: all mc.
Sheriff's report for May was reviewed. Fort Dodge Asphalt has been contacted and will
do some resurfacing.
Craig Burbank was present to discuss some dogs and also a tornado siren. Abatement
notices will be sent to clean up some yards.
Discussion was held on Ragbrai. We will look at a resolution for the day.
Juhl Feed is interested in sharing cost of a storm tile from their maintenance shop down
East st to the Anyer St tile. This would be changed from a 6" tile to a 12" tile.
Motion E Hurley, second V Pedersen to adjourn at 8:05 pm. Next regular council
meeting Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Dana Community Center.
